They should just rename media studies "PC studies"

Maybe its just the course at my University but goddamn... professor has been talking about "Othering", "The male gaze", and stereotypes since early October

we dont even discuss profound racial issues either mostly ust how asians are presented as "the orient" in media (the professor is asian)

Only concept that's interesting is "the male gaze" cause its is so intrinsic in our culture.

But yo, are all Media Studies classes like this? Also why do people in those classes tend to be so douchey?
