Does anyone ACTUALLY believe this non-sense?

Anytime there's any sort of terrorist activity this is the default statement....it stated with Bush, and now the media has a holdl of it now.

This has to be one of the stupidest excuses for terrorism.....it's a blanket excuse to cover up the real reasons for terrorism which are often a result of our governments own shady actions and bad foreign policy.

I don't hear people say that anymore. Bush famously said it after 9/11 because he didn't want to tell the truth, which was they hate us for military bases in the gulf states, unwavering support of Israel and everything they do, overthrowing Mossadeq and installing the Shah, propping up autocratic oppressive dictators, etc.

Unfortunately a lot of people bought it then. Not so much today.
