MLK is a huge part of our culture as americans, if he's regulated to just being a che guevara type figure to black people, that'll be a huge blow

I remember watching the malcolm x movie as a kid, and i remember the agents who bugged his hotel room saying something like, "compared to king, this guy is a saint." cause all he did was stay in his hotel room by himself and the only person he called was his wife.

I didn't understand it at the time. It wasnt until i got older and found out martin was a full blown philandering nymphomaniac, engaging in all types of debauchery across the country, that that scene made sense.
