These professional sports game tickets prices are out of hand

I hadnt been to a spurs game in like 2 years, which that year I went to 5 games, but all were free tickets I either won or was given. Well my girl and were talking about going to a game, we didn't want nosebleed seats and obviously the courtside seats are too high, so I started looking at midlevel type seats and they run about a $100times 2x plus want ever snacks food, thats like $250

outside of some college venues, id rather watch the game on tv with a group of friends. good eats and brews are much cheaper, and the sport is really a better product on tv anymore

Only sporting events I'd pay for is soccer and boxing. Because the crowd is involved and into it, it's not just cheering sometimes with most silence, like you'd go to see a movie. For those two sports, crowd participation and atmosphere is very important.
