Basically, all boroughs in NYC (Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island) all used to have their own identity with specialty stores and many mom/pop/ individual stores. Now all major ave/streets in ALL the boroughs look like a Florida strip malls...corporations have long taken over.

They are opening a fukking Olive garden on 125th st.

This has been in the works for years. Kiss all those mom/pop restaurants--> say hello to big chain bowel irritants.
