It's all subjective
this is obvious breh, what's the use of making a thread about telling people they have to breathe to live?
this shyt is obvious
right or wrong doesn't exist, what exists is "what happens," and what happens SHOULD happen because it happens.
didnt know this concept needed a thorough discussion, continue on breh
How bout you get your ho ass out the thread lil nikka. If it's so stupid, why enter. You sitting indian style on your bed typing in red like a lil girl, the least you can do is make a positive contribution to the thread. fukk is wrong with you b
Right and wrong is what people say they are. I think you might like these books:
Morals By Agreement - David Gauthier - Google Books
Leviathan: Or The Matter, Forme, & Power of a Common-Wealth Ecclesiasticall ... - Thomas Hobbes, Ian Shapiro - Google Books
Right and wrong are also based on human reasoning. Basically if you don't want to be hurt, you reason that it is better to not hurt other people because you can assume they'll do the same to you. We all agree that none of us wants to be hurt so then we say to hurt people is to do wrong. Really interesting stuff.
Thanks for the links. This Buddhist book I was reading made me think about the subject. I didn't know Buddhism was kind of nonchalant like that. They on some whatever happens, happens shyt
What was the book called?
What's Buddishm about? Do they have a god and all that? Wikipedia on it didn't give the direct answers I was looking for.
Too stay on topic, yeah there is no right and wrong. The book that helped me realize it the most was Crime and Punishment.
