I remember that magazine. It was actually pretty good (despite the weird name). Wasn't really a crime magazine like Don Diva, it really focused on underground artists and rappers from small cities (like KC, Hammond,IN, and Northern Cali) that were getting no love from The Source, Vibe, and XXL. Some of those cats weren't get love because they were wack, but there were some who were actually talented but didn't live in NY or some other area that was getting a lot of mainstream attention at that time. That magazine put me onto some acts (as I was living in NY at the time) that I would've never otherwise heard of.

NGL sometimes I would hear some nice bars from a rapper from some random ass place I learned about in that magazine and then go to school at bite those bars in the freestyle cyphers in the hallways (this was during the Mixtape/G-Unit Radio era in NYC, so if it was some Banks or Cassidy shyt people would expose me for biting, but some dude from Richmond, CA would have some dope shyt to say and no one would've ever heard of it :russ:).

I got love for Murder Dog just on the strength of them putting out that double disc KC compilation
