There are only 42 public defenders in the state of Mississippi in total. Another strategy used to enforce anti-Black racism.

6 years in prison before trial, shyt like that is where the feds need to step in.

its essentially kidnapping

Mississippi is essentially a criminal enterprise masked as a government institution.

Worse than you think

Look up the history of Parchman

It was basically a plantation turned into a prison. And they picked cotton out they’re not only at the prison, but on other people’s land. And they (the guards and the people borrowing the prisoners) had a whip they used while these folks picked cotton. Sound familiar right? Well the federal government stepped in in the 70s (1972 i think) and had to remind Mississippi that slavery ended already. When the profit stopped coming in the way that it was, they barely took care of prisoners out there, not that they ever did. I might make a thread on Mississippi. Tell y’all some stories about shyt I heard/was taught growing up around there

Once again, slick racist shyt from msnbc. As if all black people in alabama are poor with these weird generalizations telling black people what they should be concerned about.

So it's not all. Is it most? A majority? Half? 40%? 10%?

Breh, all prisons in america are basically modern day slave plantations. Hence why jim crow joe biden focused on overpunishing for crack in his crime bill legislation knowing that it would mass incarcerate black men. Look up the 13th amendment.

Thats why they still call it parchman farm.

This is the fukk shyt people are talking about with you.

This is taking place in Missisissippi and here you are bringing up Joe Biden

get fukk the fukk outta this coversation
