DETROIT (Do Every Thing Right Or It's Trouble)
And the only reason Wundagurl isn’t popular is because she doesn’t have a producer tag
What??? Producer tags have nothing to do with household names. The biggest producers rarely used tags, they all had popularity outside of producing as well. Dre, Swizz, Puffy, Missy Elliot, etc

Did a Saigon binge after reading that 'Where's Saigon' thread and got to the song Pain In My Life and he mentions how the beat was made by Cocoa Chanel. Then it hit me. There arent any popular female producers in hip hop history. Yeah there are female producers...they exist...But there has never been a female producer to fall in the same popular category of barbershop talk such as "Man I wanna hear X rapper over (girl producers name) beats."
That’s because women don’t have Logic or Reason :takedat:

This is actually a fascinating question low key. Making beats is something either sex should be able to do equally if they want to. And especially nowadays you don't even have to be around a bunch of nikkas tryna clown, you can do that shyt in the comfort of your bedroom and submit a beat tape online.

Guess women just ain't into doing it for whatever reason.
