Who was the person who said in another thread that Vince had a conscience? :skip: Vince has always been a complete sociopath driven by money.

Man Vince would get destroyed by his shareholders if he cancelled this show or the whole deal all together in response to something that will blow over as soon as the next big news story happens (how many times have you heard about KSB since this bomb stuff started?). We're talking $50M+ removed from the projected profits, a billy or more over the length of the deal lost. That's some "throw this guy out of his own company" type of bullshyt. Companies doing business with Saudi Arabia know what they're in bed with. None of them are pulling out of their deals over this shyt. shyt like that happens literally every day in regards to SA.

Rousey tells TMZ Sports ... pulling out of the WWE event in Saudi Arabia would be the WRONG move, because there is SO much good that can ultimately come from it.

And she's so passionate about the event, she was fighting back tears while making her point.

And, I think that pulling out of the 'Crown Jewel' would be the wrong move because I think that this is an opportunity to be able to share our cultures, and to define what we have in common and in times especially when, you know, times of adversity between two countries that’s the absolute wrong time to be able to pull away."

"I think that’s the time for us to be able to find what we have in common and be able to understand each other more."

She also hopes the event will inspire women in Saudi Arabia -- saying, "Women can’t compete in Saudi Arabia right now, but I think if the 'Crown Jewel' is a huge success, and WWE really takes off in Saudi Arabia, they’re going to be demanding to see the women soon."

I usually defend Meltzer but Imma gonna go ahead say he cant know for sure, especially with tickets only going on sale and they must see a bit of a that

Then again one of the biggest problems with doing business in Saudi recently is how slow the bag is in being delivered lately
The cost of the war in Yemen might be burning cash but I gotta beleive the reserved cash for 2030 vision projects relates to this.
And the tickets were dirt cheap last time so to quote the man himself "We'll see, who knows"

Bruh. How the fukk can this dumbass try to defend the show in the name of progress when she literally can't show up compete solely because she has a vagina?

The fukk?

I mean, I know she's getting paid well by them and all, but if I we were her, I'd be heated off the fact that she's not seeing any of the fukking bag from this shyt, they didn't bother fighting for her to get portions of said bag, and she still gotta take the heat for them.

:hhh:

Meltzer is full of it:pachaha:

the Saudi deal is paying WWE roughly $45 million per year which is worth approximately $22.5 million per show (if they keep the two shows per year going). there is absolutely no way in hell WWE is going through all of the trouble and time spent going over there to only make $2 million in profit per show.

even after taxes, all talent expenses, travel, pyro, etc. would be willing to guarantee WWE is clearing at least 30-40% of that $45 million per year (aka $7-9 million profit per show).

Saudis are probably providing the pyro for free.

probably so. I was just running the numbers as if WWE was responsible for all of those cost. the real number is probably closer to a 50%+ profit because in all likelihood Saudi Arabia is covering the cost of hotels, transportation, etc.

which is why Meltzer claiming a $2 million profit on a $22.5 million show is even more ridiculous :skip:
