Gold/Silver medal decathlete.

The decathlon shows who can jump the highest and longest, run the fastest, and measures strength, agility and stamina. It's difficult to put any quantifiable parameters for other sports, short of statistics that measure the specifics of those sports (ppg, rbi, era etc). But the decathlon measures much broader abilities that can be found across all sports.

Bryan Clay squats 600 pounds and power cleans 335.

He ran a 4.38 40.

Benches 355 LBS

Clay has a vertical leap of 43.5 inches, one of the highest no step vertical jumps in NBA/NFL Combine history.

SPARQ is an acronym for Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction and Quickness.

There are performance guides which give the details for each rating so you can see how you rank and can quickly identify your relative strengths and weaknesses. An average rating typically falls between 45 and 55. An elite rating typically exceeds 85 or 90.

Bryan Clay (US Decathlete) - reported in the SPARQ Magazine from the Summer of 2008, he achieved a Football rating of 130.40(highest ever recorded in this test), close to the high-scoring 132.00 recorded at the 2008 Nike Combines, where more than 10,000 athletes were tested. He performed all tests, and his other ratings were: SOCCER 96.50, BASEBALL 102.00, BASKETBALL 90.00 and ATHLETIC ASSESSMENT 145.00.

Do you think he is the world's fittest athlete?
