I saw this last night, having only seen the trailer a few weeks back at the indie theater in my area. A kidnapping and arranged marriage turns into a road trip thriller/romance, with some extremely gorgeous and beguiling scenery of India/Pakistan. I haven't seen a more lushly shot movie in awhile. This makes me want to fly straight to India and get on a train.

The set up is nearly Hitchcockian/noir, a variation on the wrong man theme, with fake passports, diamonds, betrayals, mysterious and (intensely beautiful) women, I was just involved in every minute, the chemistry between the two leads is crackling and building, the violence is quick and brutal.

There's a flaw or two, and some will say it is boring or predictable, but the journey, and the end involved me entirely, and I loved the messaging of the movie as well. The actress who played Samira was not only gorgeous, but guarded, and determined, with her own agenda, breaking out of her traditional gender role.
