Max Landis feat. Dolph Ziggler - Deconstructing Pro Wrestling - YouTube

I wish I could give him dap. he summed it up perfectly. i hate how people who dont watch it seem to think we watch wrestling like its a real sport  no breh, its a fukking tv show like breaking bad, mad men, etc.

:leon: perfect summation and puts it in terms anyone can understand .
I told my friend it's like true blood when she was hating ( maybe less gayer though :troll:) story goes all over the place it features storylines I may not care about but it contains some characters you care about . And things like watching Erics transformation and the cool cliffhangers make up for anything involving Tara .
It's pretty much a soap opera where mobsters interact with serial killers and sometimes supernatural entities .
I guess what I'm saying is its all about the characters .

Things seem to be off when he's live in front of crowd.

Probably cause they didn't let him talk all the time like you said.

They should hire that Chris van vliet guy he is a great interviewer . He might not translate into wwe since he dives into topics that break kayfabe lol

Damn at del rio and ziggler shytting on the miz saying he can't wrestle and is out of shape :lolbron: ruthless . I wonder how miz feels about that

Hip-hop is the same way. They perform but also act... play a character. Rick Ross isn't a drug lord, he plays one on TV. It's entertainment.

In reality there is no "real" in the entertainment industry.

You also gotta add about how all these Rappers talking about they got gats and will shoot you at the drop of a hat then once they leave the studio, they go back their gated mansions in the suburbs of California with plenty of security

:sidlaff:

Its all entertainment but i think people get something out of saying "how u watch that shyt, its fake" some kind of empowerment

but yeah, amazing video...Im glad he used some hype music instead of some shytty rock song for the background. It got his point across better

A Mississippi Cotton Field

they just won't let him do what he wants to do with the mic. The only people who get that luxury are Punk, Fellah and Cena.

One of the main reasons, and a lot of people overlook this (not saying you are), but one of the main reasons the Attitude Era worked is because you had a bunch of paid performers being themselves on the mic.

Or being what they wanted to be on the mic with Vince being one of the cool kids for once so he gave it a lot of leeway.

Hell, "Mr. McMahon" is just Vince pretending like he's part of the Kliq or the Cool Kids Backstage. That's why it doesnt work without The Kliq or whatever cool group is back there.

Now vince is just a cranky of cokehead who gives people orders and nobody likes.... again.

So he lets only a select few be themselves. You know. His friends and family and friends of family. The Cool Kids.

Hell, look at Randy Orton. Dude's actually funny as shyt, and it showed before this "Plank of Wood" Orton era.

I think it's partly because they used to treat it so legitimately and defend it's legitimacy practically to the death.

Movies and TV show execs/stars never slap reporters for saying "I think this is fake" :russ: They never claimed to be real.

It's been openly sports entertainment for a long time now, but I think the stench of trying to hoodwink people for so long hasn't worn off.
