bruh, i was listening back to the album earlier today and was just like, “cats don’t make music like this no more”
the rhymes, the sampling and the sequencing is just top tier
but the way they sampled El’s vocals for this track was genius

yeah, it hardly ever get mentioned alongside some of the classic r&b albums of the 90's, but that whole album is great from start to finish.
