Why do they always play the victim?

Why does the world always turn the other cheek?

Thoughts?

I'm not familiar with the muslim holy book, from my knowledge it is against violence, though I've had a evangelical christian on here tell me that it's okay to kill if it's your enemies so I don't really think I know shyt about these crazy religions anymore.

Why are liberal governments so easily shamed into conforming to the demands of Muslims?

Is that fair in your opinion?

Is being intolerant of religions that wish to force their will upon you self defense?
I think everyone should be free to practice their religion as they see fit as long as it doesn't cause anyone else harm. The majority of muslims are good people.

What if their region causes people harm?

Can you blame only the man, or must you blame the religion?

Religion can cause people harm but it depends on the person themselves in regards to what they do with the religion. For some people it makes them hate science which causes them to be very ignorant. For some people it teaches them love, compassion and equality. But at the end of the day, these people are taking from these books what their OWN MIND deems fit.

Doesn't the Bible teach hate?

Doesn't the Koran teach hate?

Ignorance is dangerous, a lack of understanding is dangerous.
When it's willful...

Doesn't religion foster group think?

I'd say from my knowledge that they both conflict eachother a LOT throughout. That's why I say people take what they want from the bible. Group Think is unavoidable so that's a non issue. The problem with religion is the book doesn't change, but interpretations do. It isn't like science where it's fluid and changes based on new evidence. So it can cause people to be stuck in an archaic way of thinking. Also, I think we all know that's its essentially impossible (and down right ridiculous) to live by every tenant in the bible.
