Austin said the best characters are really just extensions of their real life identity. He said the Stone Cold character was really just Steve Austin hyped to the max. It's where people are the most comfortable.

I've been waiting for this forever. CrimeTyme was meh. They were entertaining but at the end of the day they were playing a character. A stereotypical negative character at that. New Day are entertaining and they reference black stuff a lot in their promos, but they still just playing a character and many could argue whether they are soft shoe c00ning or not with the minstrel show dancing.

It's funny because based on my experiences and what I've read, Samoans are really cool with black culture and get along with black people the most next to Puerto Ricans and non c00n Dominicans. Plus they are considered "Negritos" so they really just an extension of black people in this indirect way.

The Usos current "character" are really how they act in real life with a little turn up added to it when they get aggressive. I love it. It's real. It's legit. It's us. Seeing are culture legit represented with no gimmicks or funny shyt attached to it (see CrimeTyme and New Day) is dope as fukk. It makes some white people uncomfortable, as a lot of them be commenting on the Usos facebook page asking them to put the paint back on because they were more enjoyable:mjpls:, but that makes me love it even more.

Two videos showing how they are in real life:

This is who they are. I love these dudes. I want a Day One hoodie so bad.

Been watching the Uso cook for the last what... 6-7 years on the WWE. They just keep getting better. Even when their face run was driven into ground and people turned on them. I always liked and how they consistently improve in the ring and become more natural on the mic and in promos. Them, slowly building up their characters organically up to their title win has done wonders for them. I always enjoy watch them. They have been putting on some really good **** quality matches the last couple of years. Just keep getting better! They still got a lot more ground to cover till they peak.

Agreed. The Usos were probably lowkey MVPs from 11-14 with various tag matches, including the Shield. Loved them organically getting over with the fans, basically willing the crowd into their matches. Went from being squashed by PTP to being a legit featured team. Was still a fan of them even when they got stale as faces and then Roman causes them to get boo'd.

I've always wanted a cool modern day black wrestler.. It's sad Usos are as close to me getting that. But atleast I KNOW it's genuine

Cryme time was embarrassing
MVP was a lil too corny for me
Shelton Benjamin had blonde hair
Booker is great but from a different generation. Same with mark Henry and to a much lesser extinct Titus O'Neil.

They got this dude in nxt playing mix of goldust and a gay John Morrison

New day and rich homie swann are nerds

Cedric missing the swagger/it factor

Uce all we got

Cedric and Apollo gonna need to cook for about 4 years before it clicks for them. They just need to keep grinding and don't get complacent.
