This will be my.... I guess legacy on theColi. My last thousand or so posts will be in here.

This thread will be dedicated to policy that affects and impacts primarily native born Black USA citizens. Meaning your momma's momma's momma's momma was a slave in the USA.

This thread is about serious politics....

Meaning...no shyt like

"Farrakhan got a plan..."

"We need to support Umar's school..."

None of that shyt. I am talking about shyt like John Conyer's reparations bill or his medicare for all bill. I am talking about shyt like that. I am talking about shyt that impacts millions of Black folks. I am talking about shyt you can look up and tell your Congressmen in your area to support.

I am talking about shyt you can take to your local Democratic Party chapter and discuss...

A lot of Black folk, especially young Black men, especially young, angry, confused, and impressionable Black men let older savvy hustle minded Black men take advantage of them and disengage them from the political process.

This happened to Malcolm X when he was with the NOI. NOI has a policy of not interfering with national politics. The NOI with Malcolm X as the spokesperson, just talked a lot of shyt and waited for the USA to eventually give Black folks a country and somehow Elijah Muhmmad and the NOI was supposed to be leaders of that shyt.

That was their plan and probably still is their fukking plan.

And somehow the NOI was supposedly more "radical" and had the best interest at heart for Black people than people like MLK and A. Phillip Randolph that was actually doing shyt. Getting laws made in Black folks favor. The NOI spent the majority of the 60s, getting money from Black folks...and shytting on MLK and his ilk and got fukk all to show for it.

IF YOU WANNA CHANGE YOUR CONDITION, YOU GOTTA BE INVOLVED IN THE POLITICAL PROCESS.

You can't just hide out in corners of the internet and be filled with lifeless and pointless rhetoric while political machinations are operating without you.

Nobody gives a fukk what your favorite Black "militant" or conscious Youtuber thinks.

Anyway, first...you need to be properly politically educated before you even look at policy...so we will start wit Neoliberalism...the current world system that dominates Western thought...

And whether you like it or not...you are a Westerner, living in a Western nation, living in a neoliberal stronghold.

NeoLiberalism

I ain't gonna sit here and type a full essay on Neoliberalism...cause who the fukk am I? Just important to note...you most likely 9 times out of 10...are a Neo-Liberal. I am pretty fukking sure of it.

Here will be a series of videos that discuss what Neoliberalism is and the pros and cons...I guess there are pros to neo-liberalism even though Black people get none of them..

First...full disclosure...I am not a neo-liberal. I am a LEFTIST, a Socialist, actually a revolutionary socialist like Huey P. Newton.

The USA is a CENTER-RIGHT country. Meaning it is a conservative country. Meaning that Barack Obama anywhere else will be a damn conservative. It is important for you to know that, because the Democratic Party on the political spectrum is the same as the Republican Party...shocker...I know.

Anyway, that's for later.

This post is about Neo-Liberalism...the current dominant world system that all of us live in. I suggest you look at the videos...at least one of them. But if you don't...

The TLDW version of Neo-Liberalism.

Neo-Liberalism is the the belief that individual choices and access to markets will solve ALL problems. If your public school system sucks, just fukking go to a private school or a charter school. If your working conditions suck, get a new job. If your health insurance doesn't cover a procedure you need, get a new insurer. If your neighborhood is filled with crime, move. If you can't find a job, perhaps you need to invest in yourself by taking out 50K and going to college. That's Neo-Liberalism.

It's actually a form of rationalization more than a political or economic theory. Your individual choices are GREATER than your circumstances is the ultimate idea. And you can see how that plays out in the conception of the American Dream.

The funny shyt is...we believe in individual choices and access to markets but only got two parties and get told to vote for the lesser evil...

The Left...

Now Ima get to the right in a minute but this is about the Lefft...and what do we mean by the Left in a global sense....

The Left consist of Socialists and Communists of all kinds and Non-Capitalist Anarchists.

Capitalism does not exist on the Left. You can't be a capitalist and a Leftist.

The most common and successful Leftists are of course...Socialist and Communists and I think it's important focus on those two philosophies especially as it pertains to Black Americans especially since the first Black person running for president was a socialist and socialists and communists have been are biggest allies in the USA.

I got videos at the end as usual that explains what Socialism and Communism is. My next post will be about Medicare for All and what that actually means in the context of economic systems and impact on the American economy and Black folks.

Socialism and Communism does not mean free public services paid by taxes. Socialism is a society where the means of production aka capital is publicly owned. Communism is a political philosophy of a stateless, moneyless and classless society. Communism has never existed. There have been Communist parties that had the goal of achieving communism. Pure socialism doesn't currently exist, however countries have called themselves socialist and have a planned economy such as Cuba or Vietnam or China or the USSR. Majority of countries are a mixed economy and has some level of publicly owned enterprises. Singapore, a super rich country that is known for it's extremely pro business culture (Singapore is a tax haven and has no min. wage) and ease of doing business such as has 1/5th of it's GDP contributed by the state and has a national healthcare program.

It is important to know these things and most Americans don't because Americans have been mindfukked for thinking anything that's has the government paying for something that everyone can use is socialism or communism. If the means of production isn't owned by the government or by the people, it isn't socialism. Government providing services such as healthcare isn't socialism. That's called welfare and having good welfare state.

You can however, create socialistic enterprises as individuals. For example, there are such thing as consumer owned or worker owned enterprises where the means of production is owned communally and the enterprise exist to create products and value for the workers, consumers or community. Not for a private individual to make profit.
