It's time again for another great Coli musical showcase.
This one features @The Unknown Hype vs @franknitty711 (JRB) The Unknown Hype did his thing in the last tournament and today he makes showcase daily debut against the crafty upstarst JRB!

This showcase features 2 different sounds. I like both for different reasons.
@franknitty711 The drums and the groove is nice! It definitely has me nodding my head. The mix is a little low, but the groove is solid. There isn't much variation in it so it gets a redundant after a while having a few changes would make this track stand out more Good job overall.

@The Unknown Hype - The track itself is really good. The mix is at a good level. The only critique I have on this one is that the hi hat sounds a little stiff. I would try messing with the high frequency of the hat and and adding a little more reverb to that cross-shot (snare) Also messing with the velocity of every other Hi-hat hit. Other than that this really good work.

My vote is going to The Unknown Hype

Went with Unknown Hype.
Heavenly vocal sample and the drumsounds are real dope. Think the track could use some reverb though.

I think it's the Hi-Hat being too loud which makes it sound so stiff. It's not cause of the drum-pattern.

Went with Hype. Love the filter. Lower the volume of the hats and play with the velocity to add some bounce and this would be even better.

JRB was solid but a little repetitivel
