I've been binging on a lot of physics related content lately. Most recently trying to understand the basics of quantum field theory. Just wild as fukk.
What do you mean by a fix? It appears that everything is a probability and it just so happens that we exist because we were “dealt” pocket aces. It took billions of years for our solar system to generate intelligent life. How many solar systems and planets out there in the cosmos are barren because the conditions aren’t right?Once you really look into it it becomes obvious the whole thing is a fix. Everything lines up too perfectly and the percentages of tolerance required for multiple cascade systems to balance in order for us to be doing this right now are beyond astronomical.
Reality has far more in common with video games than you'd suspect and its an exceedingly fitting analogy to where we find ourselves.

Others have mentioned the "Well our universe exists because the others don't therefore we're here to see it" circular logic before but if you genuinely look into it like say, the cascade systems at play just involved in blood flow for example its mind blowing. Way too many interrelated and complex factors. Taking it down to the atoms if neutrons were lighter then protons they wouldn't exist, neither would anything else.
There are over a hundred of these complex factors that build one on top of each other with very, very finely tuned tolerances required to make it all possible. Throw in things like the pixelation of spacetime, observer effects and lot of my own personal experiences and you'll see why I call it the Game of Souls.
We are inside a very intriguing piece of art. Most people are like CJ strolling around San Andreas, not questioning why he does such ill things. All because he doesn't realize there is someone sitting on the other side of a screen (ie dimension) with a controller who is amusing themselves with his antics. Take it a few generations ahead when game characters actually have proper AI and we're playing with immersive VR indistinguishable from "reality" and it'll click easily.
Craziest thing is there only ever one person playing at any given moment hence you are another me.

You’re alluding to solipsism which I disagree with. What is the purpose of God creating separate egos if we are all just God in the first place?
I agree that there is something “meta” going on in our reality that we cannot understand materially but I think it’s ego inflation to the max to think that we are God or all that there is
I listened to this episode a couple months ago and I've been thinking about it ever since.
