The ultimite Just Blaze vs Kanye West battle happened last year with WTT & GSNT

Just Blaze and Kanye West are like fraternal twins. Those 2 always looked like brothers and their sound was always somewhat similiar to each other tho different. Every since that XXL article that paired them, there always seemed to be a friendly battle going on with these 2. In the beginning, they battled on Blueprint, Blueprint 2 and The Black album and within those battles it was always a tie. Jay had Just dominate KC and AG while Kanye had BP3. There was also one point where Just was bigger then Kanye then that all turned around. Just would later go onto be a well respected Hip Hop producer while Kanye turned into this megastar. Those 2 are like the yin and the yang. And they both dropped student/teacher albums in 2011. With Just and Jay being the teacher and Saigon and kanye being the student. on the rap side again its another Yin yang.....One is very popular and mainstream with braggadocio raps while the other underrated and underground with conscious raps.( Jay and Saigon are Yin and yang even down to the height and complexion) Both Just and Kanye had the other producing one song on their album(Touch The Sky/Its Alright). On the boards Just Blaze played the DJ/producer on GSNT while kanye played the rapper/producer on WTT. Both Just and kanye displayed their skills and talents very well on their 2011 albums. Pound for pound, WTT was the more popular but GSNT turned out to be the better album. Production wise GSNT had the better sequence while the verbal content on GSNT just outdoes WTT. WTT has a lot of "I'm rich and bragging" rap while GSNT is more of a "give back to the people" record. The best example would be the songs "Too Long" and "Thats my B*tch." On "Too Long" Saigon speaks on hope for a female crackhead. On "Thats My B*tch" Jay gives props to blackwomen in the industry like Hallie Berry and Beyonce but gets the message lost with the backwards title. Just and Kanye will be battling again in 2012. Kanye with Good Music and Just blaze with Greatest Story Never Told 2: Bread and circuses. Just won round 1 which brings high anticipation for round 2.

Kanye had co porducers on WTT just like Just Blaze had co porducers on GSNT. It all evens out.

Kanye is more innovative in my opinion.

Just is kinda boring/predictable these days. the whole Saigon album wasn't bad but after all those years, it was disappointing.

if i had a choice between a new Kanye album and a new JB album, i'd definitely be more curious about the kanye album.

no...there's a difference with Just Blaze vs kanye these days..Kanye barely makes beats...on a technical level Just Blaze has ALWAYS been better than Ye..better at digging..chopping..scratching..better Drums..all that..

It still evens out because u still have Just and Kanye with other producers helping out on a whole album. Where Kanye adds a lil something here and there to a beat we found Just would add his lil twist on beats from other rappers here and there just to make the songs sequence properly. Like for instance at the end of "ITs Alight", its safe to assume Just added that "wooo ooo" at the end to sequence into the next track "Its alright." Also it evens out because where Kanye lacks in prodcution he makes up for with rapping. Just does no rapping and plays the DJ role on GSNT. It all evens out.

How does Kanye have a ghost when these peoples' names are right in the credits as co-producers?

And none of us are actually there as these tracks are made, so we can't really say who's doing what.

I wish Just was still as in-demand as he was years ago... cause he still makes it count damn near every time he has a track. MMG needs to make him one of their in-house producers or somethin', then we'd get some Just tracks in abundance again.

They are both talented without a doubt. Me personally i dont think 1 is better then the other but they both have given this impression of friendly compitition thruought the years and last year they both dropped albums. Its more about the final face off then who's better.
