because every time I listen to a nikka album and the beats are mid as fukk, I think to myself.....mayne them nikkas in the Tunnel would have blessed them better than this shyt.

case in point that new AZ album.

shyt mad disappointing with the beats on that.

Just goes to show you how important networking, getting yourself out there is.

Just like most everything else in the world, beat making / music production isn't (unfortunately) a meritocracy. It's your relationships, your location, your ability to chop it up with strangers, playing the game, all that political nonsense.

I wish I knew this a long time ago.
