Tubi will livestream the 2025 Super Bowl for free in 4K

Super Bowl LIX will be available to watch in 4K on Tubi, the free ad-supported streaming TV platform owned by Fox.

I'm actually curious about this because from what I've read, Fox doesn't actually broadcast in 4k.

I don't think any of the tv networks do.
Or very few.

Edit - It seems some channels broadcast in 4k but it varies by the event. So some will do it for certain sports games but not all programs.
And then other times it's "upscaled 4k" which is not quite the same thing.

ESPN has a 4K HDR channel. Looked alright for the CFB Final.

Certain things are streamed in 4K now. If you have the 4K package on YouTube TV there's certain games that will be streamed on the FOX Sports 4K channel or the ESPN 4K channel.

Also, Max streams all of their live sports content in Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos.

I never did understand what Dolby Atmos even is.
I have a surround sound system and an AV receiver and all that. I use it sometimes but I gotta figure out all those settings.
