On the topic, that that article was definitely written for the casual fans. Didn't get anything really new out of it. Knew there was some animosity (and rightfully so) from the younger guys in the background.

Imagine the fukkery seeing Earthquake and the Brutus "Bootyman" Beefcake come and be in and/or near the main event EATING while you were on the cusp of the main event or midcard glory right before they got there

That shyt is hilarious. They HAD to insert that shyt in there like it made a difference. WCW/Hogan really blew up after BATB 96, he was getting his ass booed heavily prior to that.....
