What could have bee? I could see them reaching the finals once or twice because the east in the early 2000s was :flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick:

imagine if Duncan had signed instead of one of them :ohlawd::ohlawd:

If Duncan replaced one of them:bryan:

Hill and Mcgrady would have been a sick duo especially how much Tmac went off in the early 2000's but i dont think they would have been enough to connend espsecially with what they had in the frotncourt

Who'd have thought Grant Hill would have ended up with a longer NBA career than McGrady.

Prior to the 2000-01 season, Orlando saved up a lot of cap space and went after Tim Duncan (who had just won the NBA championship), Grant Hill (at the time a player many considered to be the next Michael Jordan, however lofty those expectations were) and Tracy McGrady (who was just coming into his own as an elite talent).

I remember talking to my friends about how :ooh: :whew: a Shaq/Kobe vs. TMac/Tim Finals would have been. I honestly didnt see SA winning any more. I actually thought Tim was foolish for staying. :guilty:

As far as G.Hill and TMac goes they couldve been the original wade and bron. Not sure they couldve beaten the Lakers but they would have certainly been playing them in the Finals.

:to: what could have been...

This is almost as sad as Penny Hardaway claiming he and Jason Kidd were gonna be the sickest backcourt dou in LEAGUE HISTORY! :dead:

he was right, penny was the "sickest" always being on the injury list :pachaha:

I was only 10/11 but I remember that summer well. The whole city was like :damn: thinking Tim was about to leave. Muthafukkas were on edge for real until he said he was coming back

Hill and T-mac would have made at least one Finals together i believe after thinking about the Nets getting there a couple times in a row. They still would have had Mike Miller too right? They could have used him as a piece to get a big man down the line, since they ended up trading him anyway. But if they would have got Tim and even if Grant still got hurt T-mac and Duncan would have battled Shaq and Kobe one of the seasons for a title.
