One of my all time fav flicks. Was listening to a podcast the other day and they were talking about it which made me pop it in the PS4 and it's still amazing. Yeah I know it's in black and white and yeah I know it's old so some cats in the Coli won't want to speak on it but I think there are enough film buffs here that will want to talk about this one and other older flicks.

We have a horror thread so why not a classic movie thread?

the cinematography in this is just amazing

I can't believe this came out in the late 50s, shyt is crazy. And you get to see Elizabeth Taylor in skimpy bras

great dramatic suspense/horror

Not real old but I'm adding North by Northwest to the discussion. Incredible flick that I can watch any time it's on

the story was kinda ehhh but stylistically that movie was incredible. dat cinematography ::whew:

some of the shots in that movie :bryan:

and orson's character probably had the illest character intro in movie history

seen about 50 old black and white movies in the past few months..some of the movies mentioned in here are on my list

Hulu plus actually has a lot of the old criteron joints on there

or get em how you must

Carol Reed's classic film noir The Third Man is returning to cinemas this summer from Friday 26 June courtesy of StudioCanal, marking the first time that the film will be presented in 4K, before being released on Blu-ray and DVD in a new collector's edition on 20 July.
