The Sum of all fears, anyone seen this movie?

Just watched it on Netflix. Solid movie but the beginning doesnt make sense. An Israeli A4 took off with a nuclear bomb which ended up being shot down. Knowing that a nuclear bomb was on that plane the Israeli army would’ve went to the crash site immediately and recovered it. In the movie they just ignored it and let the bomb sit their for years, which ended up being the bomb that destroyed the US.

...yeah i seen it opening night at a AMC theater on the outskirts of Bmore. .. . . when the nuke actually went off the whole room got caught off-guard for a minute and people were yelling like it was 9/11 all over again . .

I have the blu ray on my shelf but I never watched it, I need to check it out along with the Denzel version of Manchurian Candidate

Been forever since I watched it last. But that Bmore bombing stuck with me.. especially how close to 9/11 it was when I originally watched it
