Cryme Tyme was a racist gimmick, I don't see them doing any of that stuff...yet. Maybe I should give it time?

this is ignorant cac rhetoric.. when they first debuted on nxt that's what the comments were filled with even tho it was baseless

theyve been on nxt for 2 years and havent done anything remotely similar to what cryme tyme did as they dont perpetrate any negative stereotypes or act as caricatures of what white people think the average hood dude is

outside of them both being black dudes who wear chains and use up to date slang that everyday black people do.. they're more similar to new day than they are to cryme tyme character wise as theyre just cranked up versions of their real life selves having fun and being obnoxiously loud but I dont see promo videos of them robbing banks or assaulting random people in the street or acting like drug dealers

OP is correct in a sense. They may not be a direct copy of cryme Tyme but they both come from the same thought process, they are black tag teams who gimmicks are to act stereotypically black.

The 'single' cup of ford which is clearly a way to have a lean double cup reference without seeming like they are endorsing lean in this day and age. They are the slightly corny jokey black dudes, the nikkas white people love to have around whereas cryme Tyne were the straight hood nikkas.

I must say I don't have a problem with either tbh, I liked cryme tyme and I do like the street profits although I do reckon they are getting abit too unbearably corny.

nikkas complaining about long hair wrestlers like that ain’t been the wrestling thing since the 70s

From Curt Henning and Rick Rude to Drew McIntyre

As for street profits they nothing like crime tyme besides race. Comparing them is like comparing the revival to la resistance
