Was just talking about this in the other thread.
Squash matches are essential to getting your regular roster over. Weekly TV should be mostly reserved for showcasing your talent and having them look like unbeatables compared to your average person.
We never get a sense of how good or how dominant any of the current roster is because every time we see them they’re out there getting their asses kicked.

I want to see more tag team squash matches. just to see some cool moves done on jobbers. like a Sheamus and Cesaro squash match would probably be funny as hell.I also think teams like The revival, who are dependent on their in ring skills over charisma or personality, would benefit from multiple squash matches to showcase their skills.

For real it reminds me of bench players in the NBA who get no burn. People might consider them bums but at one time they were the best player on their HS or College team.

since you're comparing it to the NBA...
we know the warriors are a great team because we've seen them completely shoot teams out of the gym and win games by 20-30 points on the regular. we're used to seeing them dominate and we're used to seeing them win games. if every warriors game was a bloodbath and they were barely squeaking by with a 41-41 record... we wouldn't think they were all that good.
aj styles is the supposed world champ but i've never seen him really dominate in any of his matches. he's always out there having a 50/50 match regardless who he is facing. so if AJ has his hands full with baron corbin.... (who has HIS hands full with dolph ziggler)... then how good is aj styles really???
AJ isnt booked like dominant face Undertaker in 97..its more like 93 era Bret Hart..the fighting champion gimmick where he keeps finding ways to win.
