Mek chat...

Whud'd down
What good...

Anybody else experiencing no power.
or loss of resources and amenities to the storm?

This no electrical power life is bogus.

I am about to lose all my yearly rations.
Plus phone power.

Nothing is open.

fukk it....

Halp!!!

Bugs bunny : HALP!!

It takes two hours to wait in line just to get to a pump for gas.
If you find a GAs station open tho.

Are they talking about this on the news.
As I have no local south Carolina news. They onky have north Carolina local news where I live in south carolina.
I really can't surf online like that.
From having to conserve energy.
Plus any contingency plan.
To travel is like a whole logistic thing.
as i have no idea.
how far spread this power outage is.

as the power line is actually down in my actual yard too tho.
So driving and charging anything is risky now.
maybe i check in like an hour from now.
if anyone has any experienced solutions. In handling a wide spread electrical power outage. To get out in front of this.

it would be greatly appreciated

probably a bit late for prep now... where i live the danger is more from tornadoes and flash flooding than hurricanes but i have experienced times where we didnt have power for days

try not to open your fridge unless absolutely necessary to keep it as cold as possible long term
a good cooler is a must. if you have a deep freezer, preload it with ice for when the power dies and keep it shut like above
canned food and a way to filter water as well

what part of SC are you in? i have friends in asheville NC i cant get a hold of :lupe:

Do not quote me on anything outside of my experience.
as far as my actual area.
that I have seen. I have been out at dusk a bit. Twice to be exact. Looking for food.

No restaurants are open as far out as i was willing to go. Given the gas situation. Being such a long wait and more of a planned event. At this current point inbthis adventure. Like going to get gas is going to be what i imagine.
the gas crisis in rhe seventies were.
if i was a bit more cognitive then.
as gas like i previously reported is six flags at great america wait time type shyt. So getting gas and driving around to charge devices is few and far between right now.
.d
ample light is another issue.
hope this is over so i cam stay presentable. As real talk. I can"'t get fresh on my cut using fŕesh sunlight .
speaking of iight sources
this place has no real array of street lights. Plus no lights equal pitch black dark.
or near dark at like four in certain parts of the house.

shyt is like little house on the prairies. Where they went to sleep at five pm and woke at four am.

This shyt is prehistoric out here.
