Ya this is how t.o. Went broke

Rosenhaus likes to use athlete money to fund his friends business schemes which are sometimes half assed. Rosenhaus gets a big cut I'm sure

Athletes go along with it because they are dumb/trust other people with their money over themselves

shyt is crazy. Its like these athletes don't even know how to open a bank account, CD account or anything. letting a financial adviser or anyone handle your game day checks and having access to deposit or withdrawal from your account is insane

Damn. Its pretty messsed up too because these agents sign these guys when theyre barely out of their teens sometimes and pretty impressionable and not so business savvy.

Honestly, think about how you'd handle millions of dollars at 21-24 years old. I only knew how to set up a checking and savings account. That's it. If I had people flying at me at all times with investments and telling me to let my "money do my work for me" type statements I'd rely on what my agent says too. Football money ain't guaranteed like baseball money so it's the one sport players get got like this. They have to plan for the future. Rosenhaus is a piece of shyt though.

Sidenote:
If I'm an agent, university, player or league and I find out yahoo sports is investigating me then I'm going into hiding. They don't fukk around with little ass stories. They stay dropping bombs.

Real talk, but I remember a poster on here(forgot his name) who played ball and dealt with a agent for a second. He said the agent would can get you a car, house, etc.. basically whatever you wanted. And I'm sure they have relationships with car dealerships, real estate agents, etc. and they get a fee for directing business towards these guys. I take it most players fresh out of college will let these guys literally handle EVERYTHING. When maybe starting off in the league, forget investments, maybe a simple bank account might be the best thing for them.. then branch out and learn investing and the like after you've gain some knowledge and experience and have that second contract where you do have some wiggle room for investments, big house, etc.

cliff notes? aint tryna read that shyt :shaq:
Drew Rosenhaus steered alot of his clients(T.O included) to a financial adviser, named Jeff Rubin, who got them to invest in a Alabama Casino that went belly up.. all the players involved lost a total of around $44 million

Basically niqqas too dumb to educate themselves on how to invest their money wisely. Either gives money to De'de' to open up a carwash that serves cristal to customers, or give money to Rosenhaus' financial adviser friend who commits fraud and steals everyone's money.:pachaha:
