If kawhi plays tuesday and isn't hampered by his injury it will be the same type of shyt as game 1 :yeshrug:

The only reason they lost this game was due to the spur's offense stalling, i'm not confident in mike browns ability to make adjustments tho we shall see

I don't think you can judge what will happen in future games based on game 1. But Mike Brown's lineups do worry me. That lineup he threw out to start the 2nd was awful, and it helped the Spurs build that lead. And he left them out there far too long.

Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio
I was on the road from Houston to Dallas for the entire game. Would have been :mjcry: if I actually watched that shyt on TV.

If the Spurs don't get Game 2, series is over. Golden St. will take one of either Game 3 or 4, so Spurs need a W tomorrow in the worst way.

This is turning into a lose-lose for the Spurs. Banged up Kawhi and no TP = more minutes for Mills and Simmons. Both have made the most of their opportunities which means they're pricing themselves out of re-signing with SA in the offseason. All the more reason to get Bertans (a guy who will be under contract) and Murray more PT.

just like that: grand opening, grand closing.....with the kawhi injury, this went from the series people wanted to see to the series people cant wait to be over....

the spurs needed to win 1 of the first 2 games, and with kawhi being injured, doesnt look like that's gonna happen...hell, he might not play till game 4, which means the warriors gonna put this to bed early....think the spurs will put up a fight, but the warriors will pull away in games 2 and 3.....if they lucky, the spurs will win game 4, but lose in game 5.....

...gonna be interesting to see how people try to spin the narrative of the warriors going to the finals with possibly only 1 loss....

No matter what it's going to get stiff

If Leonard can deal with the pain the only question will be his mobility

Do ankles get shot up? I've never heard of it

I remember learning in Pathology lab that an ankle sprain hardly ever properly heals. The person is always susceptible to rolling that same ankle again and again. I'm not really surprised he rolled it a 2nd time. I'm more surprised of the 3rd time against Zaza. This will bother him the rest of the season, especially if he plans on going tomorrow. The day inbetween for rest, only so much treatment can be done. At some point the only thing that will help is long term rest.

LMA would have to play like he did in Game 6 last round and the Spurs would have to make about 15 threes to even have a chance.

If the Warriors come out doing dumb shyt like turnovers and taking half court 3s, that would help too. Iggy probably won't play... if West plays a lot, that also helps SA

Yea we gonna beed Aldridge to get 30 plus and somebody else to get plus 20 for us to keep game 2 competitive. Gasol tho...he was just getting abused on the PnR but i mean if it wasnt him, it woulda been Lee or Dedmon getting washed by Curry.

Really wish Pop wouls give Bertans some burn cause we could use a stretch 4 to lure Draymond out the paint.

Well Kawhi has been ruled out and while one game isnt an indication of how things will go, Patty looked like shyt yesterday while Simmons looked good as you'd expect him to look. He's just still REALLLLY raw offensively.

This is pathetic y'all just can't admit that injury has saved y'all. Warriors are still the most talented squad in the league. The spurs are just saying we can compete too and possibly win. You guys try to compare like "oh we lost curry for a bit last year" but when the starting cast is as deep and good as klay/iggy(bench) with draymond capable of leading the team that shyt isn't the same. Without kawhi what superstar talent does the spurs have? Without pop this shyt would not be competitive. Also the only reason we have issue with you guys coping pleas for curry's injuries last year is because didn't he drop damn near 40 and claim "IM BACK IM HERE" stop that nonsense.

Pop has gone off ladies and gentlemen

More tweets regarding Kawhi's status for game 2:

  • Elbowed Patty Mills
  • Attempted to trip up LaMarcus Aldridge
  • Tried to break Kawhi's arm like how Olynyk did with Love
  • Tried to pick a fight with David West
  • Tried to take out Danny Green's legs the way Delly tried to with Horford

He ended up getting rejected, all this happened in the same damn game as well, last year. And some of y'all think Zaza's move was unintentional...

I didn't mind pop not giving bertans burn in the rockets series but, in this series and now that kawhi might be out for game 2, pop gotta play him. murray is another one, even when he gets minutes he makes the most out of them. i love how the kid murray drives to the basket and rebounds on the defensive end.
