So we just heard today that they ordered a cell phone recycling operation right after they got a request for text messages. But some of the other evidence:

* VP Pence refusing to get into the limo with secret service agents to leave the Capital. What was he afraid of?
* The SS (hmm...) leaking LIES that Trump didn't actually try to choke out the driver who wouldn't take him to the Capital
* Just also heard on CNN from an analyist that the SS didn't secure the Presidential diary (I don't know what form it's in) and there's a gap of 7 hours??

It's frustrating that likely noone will be held accountable.

In retrospect, it makes sense that someone working with the Secret Service would show loyalty to Trump. I'd imagine they have lived similar lives and are therefore more likely to be in lockstep with the average Soldier/Marines/Police/Firefighters that are also pro-Trump

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high

THE SECRET SERVICE erased text messages from January 5 and January 6, 2021, according to a letter given to the January 6 committee and reviewed by The Intercept. The letter was originally sent by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General to the House and Senate homeland security committees. Though the Secret Service maintains that the text messages were lost as a result of a “device-replacement program,” the letter says the erasure took place shortly after oversight officials requested the agency’s electronic communications.

The Secret Service did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Secret Service has emerged as a key player in the explosive congressional hearings on former President Donald Trump’s role in the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, in an attempt to prevent the 2020 election results from being certified. That day, then-Vice President Mike Pence was at the Capitol to certify the results. When rioters entered the building, the Secret Service tried to whisk Pence away from the scene.

The fact that no one plotting and partaking in the coup at the highest levels has been arrested for it is astounding. Any other country where a president tried to get his vp killed would in prison or killed as a result. The same goes for everyone who helped him.

Wait. Wut? :what::why::dahell:

  • "Make no mistake about the fact that the Vice President's life was in danger," Aguilar said.
The head of the Secret Service told Pence on Jan. 6: "'We're not going to drive out of the building without your permission," to which Pence replied: "I know you, I trust you, but you're not the one behind the wheel," Greg Jacob testified to the Jan. 6 select committee.

Pence was shook af. Dude played it smart

How y’all think the office of inspector general knew texts were deleted? They literally compared them to the archived text the phone provider logs… so you don’t see any text on the phones from the agents on the 5th and 6th but all other text are from the 4th and 7th :mjlol:

The OIG not going to come out and say we have the deleted text from SS agents on the 5th and 6th.. nah they not going to say that…. Being that it’s an active investigation they said we have reports that the SS possibly deleted text from the 5th and 6th and then for the SS to put out a brief statement saying that it’s not true lmaooo

The OIG already handed those text over to the committee…
