Brehs will roast you and I get it, dude's family was WWE for generations and he was very much the best at doing the WWE style so its hard to see him go anywhere else...but hes also lowkey a fan of wrestling in general (communitcating with non WWE people on social media, happy to appear on a tape segment for Impact for shamrock etc) so when he says he watches other feds it might be BS but it might not idk

I say all that to say, it would have been interesting in the mid 2000s when his WWE contract lapsed for him to do a one off New Japan show or two like how Brock and Kurt did, just to bucket list. Yeah his style might be too cartoonish for that audience, Im not sure tbh. But I think he would have adjusted. He definetly would have sold those chops

He would've definitely adjusted for a short stint & choice programs. Likely do what Hoegan did whenever he came over and changed up his movest to fit his audience, but retaining a lot of the mannerisms, physical charisma, and psychology that made him... well, him.
