But why waste your time watching something horrible though, do you hate yourself? I wouldn't wish an Adam Sandler movie on my worst enemy. This is gonna be so stupid it's funny. Gonna get so high I'm uncomfortable. Then it'll be funny
You are thinking checkers while they are playing chess. All those actors and it's not on tv, cable,HBO or playing at the theaters? Netflix has made it.Netflix lost for giving him a 4 picture deal
what could those two bicker over?looks like Schneider and Sandler squashed the beef
Schneider, who seems to be breaking away from the Adam Sandler crowd of late, joked about needing more money to star in the film during a Houston talk radio interview last year: “They’re doing Grown Ups 2 without me. Mistake. They should have paid me a lot of money … Well, truthfully, I wasn’t sure if I’d have my TV series, so it was an availability thing, but at the end of the day, they should have [said], ‘What money does Rob need?’”
Sandler and Schneider have appeared together in at least 18 films, most of the time via cameo appearances.
In a recent video interview with a Wisconsin newspaper before a stand-up appearance, Schneider sounded a little bit unsatisfied with the oddball cameo roles he has had in some of Sandler’s films over the years.
When prodded by the interviewer to address the issue, he jokes: “He makes us look like idiots in all the movies, and we do it… because we are idiots. But he also trusts us, and we trust him I guess. And maybe too much.”
A lot of my die hard fans (they call themselves “schnei-hards”) will have noticed that I’m not in Adam Sandler’s new movie Grown Ups 2 despite the fact that I appear desperate to play in any movie projects that comes my way. Literally anything. Well, sorry to disappoint but I could not, in good conscience, appear in Grown Ups 2.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure Adam Sandler has shaped Grown Ups 2 into just the kind of awful, unfunny, scatological groan fest that I would – up until recently – kill to be attached to. Heck, I’ll probably plop down the ten bucks to go see it if somebody lets me borrow ten bucks (I’ll get you back, I promise). I had a blast making the first one and watching it do really well despite how objectively terrible it was. I can’t wait for Grown Ups 2 to do the same. In fact, if it does do well and thereby assures Adam Sandler’s career continues despite all logic, I’m totally game to do another project with him, especially if it pays me ten dollars or more.
His profit margin on these has to be godly for this to continue.
