Lmao he ain't talking about me. And it means Lord. The proper noun can refer to deities. King David actually named a place in ancient ISreal after Yah called Baal Perazim. King Saul also had a son named Ishbaal
And if you look at the strong's for the transliteration you will see it's definitions and usage. Most the time baal isn't referring to the Caanite diety in the bible.

But yeah but in the religious text you have to be careful with capitalization and punctations because LORD and lord though the same word aren't the same grammatically in scriptures. Like GOD and god aren't the same. For example, in Psalms 82 the children of Isreal are called gods. You can see where women would refer to their husbands as lords too. 1 peter 3:6

So of course you are using one form and not the other. The book of judges is set 200 years before david. The sin of israel during this time was worshipping baal and ashteroth. Like you said, baal-zebub, who you all know as beelzebub.

Judges 2:11-14 & Judges 6:30, 1st Samuel 7:4 proves the origin of the word Baal is a Phonecian pagan GOD. You can find the word many times in the OT by searching it and most of the time it’s dealing with Edomites, Cannanities, and false deity worship. You can run a search on your Bible app under “Baal” and most of the time it’s used to talk about what the pagans called their lands before Israel took it (cause they pagans worshipped Baal), Edomite king, Phonecial pagan GOD etc.

Nice. One of my friends is hard body into studying he don't smoke anymore, follow biblical dietary customs and laws, obeys the sabbath the whole 9. It's actually a camp that use to teach out near my area and they would break bread whenever they saw me.
