when you think about it, outside of Austin, Rock, and Brock who are all less than part-time wrestlers, who is there left for him to face?? he's literally wrestled EVERYBODY. Unless someone new emerges in the next year or so, why would he wanna stay around and feud with Cena for the 347793003000th time.

because WWE is the place where you could face the same guy a zillion times but with different situations.

CM Punk could squash kofi kingston tomorrow but then kofi could win money in the bank and kick ass for a few months and realistically look like a main event and then bam, wwe title match @ wrestlemania 30

Even if he does retire, I still see him coming back in a few months probably to do his thing on commentary. By the time 2015 comes around he would have accomplished almost everything. He just wants a few more Mania moments under his belt to satisfy his checklist.
