The Philadelphia’s executioners documentary is a about a group of fighters from The ghetto west Philadelphia. At one time in the 70s they were the best fighters in the country. In fact Bernard Hopkins “borrowed“ his ring Personna from these guys. Stand up Comic Danny Green put this documentary together.
My aunt used to live in west Philadelphia not too far from this gym right off of 60th and vine streets. We used to pass by this gym all the time. By the time the 90s came around it was boarded up and the abandoned. Anyone from that area knows that at one time In the 70s this was home to a notorious gang call the Moon. Interesting story I cannot wait to see this documentary.
