Now that Shyne is having a Twitter melt down, we really know keeping it real is not worth it.

so, lets see who was about that life and where it landed them

Shyne Po - 10 years in jail :merchant:

Weezy - 8 months :smugfavre: been :flabbynsick: ever since his release. claimed he wrote most of C4 in jail :scusthov:

TI - in and out of prison, career ended :sadbron:

Gucci - depleted his little buzz by powdering his nose and throwing hoes out moving cars :what:

Ross is proof that doing the opposite of keeping it real works

I love how cats on this site respect rappers who are bout that life, but as soon as they get locked up or shot it's "keeping it real goes wrong"

it's always one extreme or the other with most people.

why does someone either:

A: super thug shooting in clubs, selling coke, fighting, busting their guns and in the hood 94% of the time OR...

B: super fake rick ross style or from rich parents, great upbringing in a gated community etc and then rap as if they are thugs.

why do we always have to act like these are the only two possible ways to do it, as if no one is somewhere in between?
