I don't know the language none of my family does either through generations of linguistic cleansing. I'm gonna make it a priority language of mine to learn.. I speak Sudanese Arabic as well but I don't read or write it.

That's what happened to a lot of us African descendants. Only thing, I don't even know what part of Africa they come from so I can't even figure out what language I should study. Good on you for reviving the language your ancestors spoke. This is a great reason to major in Linguistics; is there a way to learn Nubian via internet? I tried Duolingo but they don't have much to choose from.
