The Punisher vs. The Joker

Bruce Wayne suddenly dies again, so of course a reckless, angry successor must take his place (dikk Grayson doesn't count ), and the plot gods choose Frank Castle from all the way over in the Marvel Universe. To help the other criminals in Gotham take notice, he decides to go for its biggest fish first.

Frank's already in the city by the time Joker finds out that he's looking for him, so he begins rolling out the welcome mat for him (read: trying to kill him). If they decide to focus all their resources on each other from that point on, who survives?

I mean, Punisher is that beast. He'd merk the entire city looking for Joker. But I dunno, Joker psychological as hell, and got that intangible nature when it comes to avoiding shyt.

I don't know if Castle's smart enough to not get killed during one of Joker's gauntlets of ridiculousness

Plus, Joker would practically bust a nutt at all the carnage being caused by Castle. Frank would probably end up a crazed villain if he managed to win.

You do realize that the Joker only does that crazy shyt because he likes "playing" with Bats, right? He wants Bats to kill him because he knows Bats doesn't kill.

He'd murk Punisher without a second thought the instant he got word he's coming to town without hesitation at all. The Punisher has a rep that Joker would instantly know what's up. Joker's genius is underrated.......Let's put it like this. Luthor goes out of his way to attack Supes, who is DC's version of a boy scout God, but has said on multiple occasions that he would never come at the Joker.
