portable hardcore gaming is not important in MOST grown peoples lives. Its a waste of money for most adults i dont care what nobody says. Everybody tried to justify a 250 dollar portable system with 40+ dollar games just to play on bus commutes or "waits" ...they should've marketed it toward kids and brought it at a cheaper price point on DS levels.

Playstation isn't doing it right. All they need are games like 2k, Madden, NHL, CoD stuff like that on the go to sell the platform.

Handheld gaming is fine. Thats Japan main source of gaming. But the vita is a nice hardware it just doesn't have the games that appeal to people and the price.

3ds has made there own games not ports well some are and then they put there heavy hitters out right before vita came out

as someone who used to rock the ds lite for hours and hours and every handheld before then...i do my mobile gaming on my phone now...little small quirky fun games for free or 99 cents that are instantly playable and you can put down and is on a device you already need>>>>>

I think its cool, most of my gaming is mobile these days so it made sense. I do wish the screen was smaller and they figured out a way to make it a phone. Would have been a real push, I would have paid $600 for it.

Didn't matter either way I flipped my way to a free vita. Playing mlb the show anywhere is piff

I like Vita. I like iPhone gaming. Once again, most of y'all on your "all or nothing" nonsense. You can't play Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Rayman on an iPhone. And honestly, people with Androids or Windows Phones talking about mobile gaming are doing themselves a disservice.

EDIT: BTW, I'm on the train for like an hour or so per day so gaming-on-the-go makes sense for me. I wouldn't play either nearly as much if I wasn't using public transportation.
