I'd be pissed if I bought waterfront property now I have to stare at the back of someone's building. I thought everyone was moving out of NYC anyway.

ehh, doesn't seem like the tradeoffs are worth the environmental risks. and in our currently globalized, capitalist society, i don't see how that new neighborhood doesn't simply become a place for people to park wealth. it might siphon some of the upper income professionals who moved to BK back into manhattan, making prices come down a bit in BK, but the speed at which america moves and how govt agencies let contractors rape them, shyt will be billionarie's row pt deux
