14 years ago today brehs I think every wrestling fan remembers exactly where they were when they got the news

When i was a kid i use to think Owen > Bret during their feud. One of the most naturally gifted wrestlers to never get the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Can u imagine the classics we would have had the privilege of watching during the Attitude Era had Owen still been around after Eddie,Benoit,Jericho and Angle came to the WWE

Watched that PPV on my friends scrambled cable box. JR's somber tone is something ill never forget. Dude is a total pro who has seen and heard it all so to hear the shook up tone he was speaking with explaining that his is NOT a stunt was for real.

Owen kicking Bret's leg out was the way a heel turn is supposed to be done. Dude had had enough of the shadow and was gonna do something about it, dude really could and should have been a champ eventually. He had all the tools.
