:ohhh:

From politics to sports, etc. All these things read like a wrestling storyline. This dude Christie is at the RNC giving a speech straight out of a wwe promo.

I'm like, is this real life? I might start watching wrestling again to stay on the up and up

I can see that at times.

On the backstage tip, it's the people who kiss the most ass who get over the most. That is like that at any work place, the cut throat types ascend.

But politics mostly, it's dead on. You got faces/heels all depending on your viewpoints. They`re all in it together, play their good/evil parts to work the crowd (voters) but behind closed doors they're about the same shyt.

Politicians get pushes from their political parties, and 9/10 it has nothing to do with how good they are

Whenever someone tries to get at me for watching wrestling (almost never happens) just point out all the dumb shyt they watch.

There is stuff which is 10x worse than wrestling on TV and it makes up 90% of the viewing audience

The most popular show in the country is american idol.

Doesn't get any dumber than that. :birdman:

So Bob Arum won't let Pacquiao fight May. There is a good chance that if this happens, it will make Pac look bad and ruin his draw. Although there are many talented competitors on Top Rank, none of them are really big enough to fill Manny's shoes in monetary terms(not yet, anyway) and many of the bigger names are up there in age. This only leaves one name big enough to draw in casual fans and young enough(in relative terms) to stay around for a little while, which means that they can't do anything that would make him look bad because there's no one to pick up the mantle in the near future.

This sounds familiar...

Kevin Nash said it best, life is a work.

Indeed.

I was just on Twitter explaining that women would probably complain less about how men treat them if they'd grown up watching wrestling in the Attitude Era. Stone Cold taught us that you don't trust anybody that easily. The Rock taught us that as long as you have confidence and back up what you say, people are gonna have to fukk with you whether you're an a$$hole or not...

Jobs are gimmicks that are given to you and if you're drawing (making good money), roll with it and don't complain because you could always be working the indies.
