Seb Coe in BBC says the sports needs longer competition. Only way to get commercial sponsors and bring the sport into the public eye.

Thoughts?

The thing is the Continental Tour starts in January anyway. And in January you have the indoor season and the NCAAs kicking off. So to make the season longer you bump up some of the Continental tour meets to Diamond League status. So you have Melbourne maybe do Rio after Carnival South Africa in Jan/Feb as that's where people go for warm weather training. Then do you move the Kip Keino classic and the Botswana back to Feb and March instead of April and May.

The most interesting thing he said was the possibility of losing events because they arent a draw with the viewership.

Low key I don't think I've ever even watched a Continental Tour event in all my life.
