smh she shouldnt of even been there, she pulled up in the 100m relay at the worlds and was told not to go to the euros.

Especially with what happened last year in the Olympics and in the relay at the World's. The next 2 years are far more important for her than this year's Euros. She's already conquered the 100 and 200m at the Champs. I understand wanting to defend your titles but when you have a lingering injury which could disrupt your winter training and put you behind schedule it isn't worth the hassle.

Like the Track and Field athletes the swimmers have had a packed schedule this summer. They too have had the Worlds Commies and Euros triple to compete in also. Half of the elite British swimmers have either skipped the Euros or only focusing on 1 or 2 individuals events. The ones who have skipped these champs have cited after a longer season they need to have a break for 4-6 weeks now as they wont have any time once 2023 starts so they can prepare for the next World Champs and the Olympics.
