Steiner got the worst lane:picard:

Lane 1 is the worst lane its too tight. Lane 8 is a good lane. You can run your own race more. Van Niekerk 43.03 was run in the outside lane

19.80 for Knighton was not what I expected

He's young people expected him to replicate 19.49 every time. This why I tell people to ignore early season times. Championship running is a different level.

Nah I didn't expect him to run 19.49 with that being his best time earlier in the season , but a little bit better then 19.80. I remember young Noah going through it, Knighton will get better and better which should improve his time consistency.

The name of the game is winning/getting top 3. Everyone wants to see fast times but the reality is times are somewhat irrelevant when it's a final. It's a bonus if you can run a PB/SB.

19.80 would of won gold in 2017 and 2019.

Gatlin ran 20.04 when he won in 2005.

Young Noah went thru what? Apart from last year he pretty much wins the 200m and this has been the case since the junior ranks. Or you mean some random u20 Pan American championship race in the 100m where he finished 2nd.

Shouldn’t said go through it , but Taking about the 2016 Olympic trials when he was Knightons age. He bounced back by winning the u20 100m and 4x100
