Very intense episodes, good new games and kept me captivated for all episodes.....they however don't know how to end a show.....these dudes had 3 years to come up with a dope ending for this and are now stretching it for another season? Talking about how greed is bad on the show buts thats just what they doing with milking this shyt. I liked the overall season and they kept it fresh, but that "wait for next season" bullshyt is CORNY! Don't give me an incomplete story after 3 years

Prediction for next season They're going to discover that the game is happening across the globe, which is going to lead to squid game: usa, squid game: mexico, Squid game: Germany, etc. I just don't see them ending a hit like this, and they will make a franchise out of this

They're ending the OG Korean version of Squid Game next year. However, there will almost certainly be spin-offs. No doubt about it.

He did all this preparing over the years and he didn’t account for the mole again, the game master is literally wearing the same number as the old man 001.

They had to DUMB everything down to repeat the story


Even the main character went from "I need to save everyone from the games" to "people can die for the greater good" in like 5 minutes

I just finished watching, overall thought it was an entertaining although incomplete season. Before the season even dropped, Netflix announced it would be a S3 that would arrive a year from now and that would be the final season. I do agree it's not better than S1, doesn't reach nearly the emotional heights or investment into the characters. That was always going to the hardest thing to top imo.

Will say the Shaman lady and Thanos brought a lot of fukkery this season. Anytime Thanos switched into English was

I thought they would do more with having the headmaster infiltrate, aside from helping to squash the rebellion at the end

The second series of games with the relay race seemed the hardest to get through.

The outside scenes with the cop and crew searching for the island weren't as compelling as the actual games. The Captain being a spy, wasn't a big shock.

They did seem to add in more comedy this season it looked like.
