It had no reason to exist. Goofy ass acting. Son and mother storyline from the reality show. Best character gone first episode. I'm almost done with episode four and we've had two games. And the whole premise is nonsensical. It was always going to be tough to follow up an all-time season though

The Koreans are really good at copying (see K-Pop). Wouldn't be surprised if they stole the concept of the show from somewhere else.
Now that it's season 2 they have to come up with some original ideas to continue the story and keep the audience engaged. They're falling flat like D&D with Game of Thrones.

A season 3 is confirmed (which will be the final season according to the series creator).
I just finished Season 2. It was good, but obviously not even close to touching Season 1.
They clearly split up the story into 2 parts for financial reasons. Season 3 should (or least better) be crazy.

I enjoyed it. Had anxiety with the games. That said the naysayers are Ryan Coogler Black Panther lovers and don't listen to them ..they have trash tastes

When I was writing the script for the two seasons, I felt like there was a big turning point or an inflection point, and that was the end of Episode 7, so I thought that it would do it justice to have a separate season after that. That’s why I had first seven episodes as Season 2 and then the rest of Season 3.”

Yeah Season 3 has got to knock it out the park. It has all the cards to do so. Honestly, it could have ended here with 2 or 3 more episodes, so I'm excited for what they can do with 5+ more episodes. A lot of pieces on the board have been knocked off or have outlived their usefulness. Will they be adding new characters for season 3? Will they be using characters who didn't get any shine or dialogue and introduce them into the main cast? I'm hoping they meet expectations for S3
The number 11 soldier girl storyline was done pretty poorly...they just randomly show her like once every 40 minutes and expect us to care...but of course she's gonna end up helping 456 by saving his life shooting somebody or some shyt like that...but i hate how she was written into the story
