Yea I’m pissed. This is fukking unacceptable. I understand there’s always a risk with buying early, but not being able to fix errors that were present in the ps4 and that also bricks consoles is outrageous. I’m about to call these nikkas right now

I turned rest mode off, so this has to be something different. From posts around the internet, many are saying it’s a problem with the GPU, and the console will eventually brick, and to call PlayStation.

CE-108255-1(UPDATE)

So I just got off the phone with PlayStation support , (FINALLY) and I got fantastic news for everyone suffering from this error. The specialist said that it is a hardware issue that is stemming from a software issue and that it will be patched out.

What’s going on is there is an issue with the software communicating data to the hardware, hence the abrupt crashing. It’s almost like the hardware gets confused and doesn’t know what it’s doing and that crashes the game. He told me that he doesn’t know when the update will go live but he knows it’s coming very very soon. I reiterate that it is a software issue causing a hardware issue.

He also told me the engineers are working 24/7 to get this patch out and that the engineers are 120% positive all this is stemming from software malfunction. Hope this helps anyone who is frustrated! Stay Safe, stay healthy , be patient, well be back in the game soon enough.

On my ma this is my support Agents words to me. I’m spamming this in most threads to help people! Feel free to upvote/share, whatever makes it well known. I literally created a reddit to inform everyone about this.

yikes, id be upset. Usually when you manufacture anything you have a separate allotment of spares for customers with defects and warranty claims.

So, hopefully they can get you a replacement unit asap.

maaan I’m starting to get into the miles morales game a little cuz the story is gripping but I’m have to hold off on it for a few days...maybe they drop the patch by the end of the week smh

will a patch help you in your situation tho or is it not turning on at all?

nvm...I see it’s turning on but you just keep getting the error so ya hopefully they patch the shyt soon
